THESE are the best restaurants in Austria

20,000 members’ votes were evaluated to choose the best restaurants in Austria. Two restaurants achieved the maximum number of 100 Falstaff points this year, namely the 3-star chef Juan Amado and the well-known Steirereck. Both are based in Vienna. A ranking was made for each federal state and the first three were selected.

Lukas Nagl won in Upper Austria “Bootshaus. There is also a new winner in Tyrol: the “Gourmet-Restaurant Stüva” in Ischgl. In Styria there is only one winner: “Weinbank” from Ehrenhausen and Hubert Wallner from Lake Wörthersee in Carinthia cook the best. In Vorarlberg, the “Rote Wand” won again with the Chef’s Table, despite changing chefs. The most stable winner is at home in Lower Austria: “Landhaus Bacher” has now won again and again.
