We all love cookies. Especially if they have large pieces (the so-called pieces), they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. These salty-sweet almond cookies definitely tick all the boxes for a good cookie. They are also vegan and therefore suitable for anyone who wants to indulge in them.
So that everything really tastes like almonds, in addition to ground almonds, the biscuits also contain almond butter and almond extract. The latter, in particular, gives the almond cookies an almost subtle aroma of marzipan. Perfect for a cozy winter evening. You can also dust your almond cookies with other ingredients like chocolate chips, dried fruit, or chopped nuts. We settled on a handful of chunky chocolate chips that accented the lusciousness of the delicious cookie.
Do you like the combination of sweet and salty? Awesome, then these almond cookies will definitely appeal to you as they flatter the palate with this delicious combination. The combination of caramel and salt has also become extremely popular and needs no further explanation. For example, try these cinnamon rolls with yuzu salted caramel, they are simply delicious. Salty-sweet almond cookies
These almond cookies are the perfect combination of sweet and salty flavors and just taste great.
Mix flax seeds with vegetable milk and leave to soak for 5 minutes. Preheat the oven to 185 degrees (fan) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Place the flax seeds in a large bowl. Add sugar, margarine, vanilla paste, almond oil and almond extract. Mix everything well with a hand mixer.
Now add the flour, ground almonds, baking powder and salt to the bowl and continue to mix until everything is incorporated into the bowl. Finally, add chopped almonds and a handful of large chocolate pieces to the dough and knead everything carefully until a firm dough is obtained.
Then make about 5 large, thick cookies from the dough and place them on baking paper, separating them well. Bake in the oven for about 12 minutes. Then allow to cool for about 30 minutes before enjoying. Bon Appetit!
